On 1st May 2016 Raj’s Cookie Monsters will be running across Reading, Berkshire in onesies to raise money for diabetes research. I am part of a team raising money in honour of my friend Raj Patel to support diabetes research. The route was organised by Raj’s friend Charlie Edwards, to reflect some of Raj’s favourite spots in the town. 

Family and friends of Raj will take part in the event, in support of diabetes research. Raj was diabetic himself and was passionate about this charity. Raj was 24 when he tragically passed away last year. Raj was an inspiration and taught us that we can push ourselves further in everything we do. This event will be a tribute to his memory, as he was an avid runner (who also loved his cookie monster onesie) and aid a charity he supported.
