Event: Great Manchester Run 2016, on 22 May 2016
We support treatment, research and care to make our hospitals even better

Story

Along with over a thousand others in purple, I am running in the University of Manchester's team at the Great Manchester Run on 22 May 2016. Together we are raising money for three main charities: Marie Curie, Manchester Childrens' Hospital and the British Red Cross. They are hoping to raise over £100,000 this year.

I have chosen to collect for the Childrens' hospital charity.

The charity make a different by supporting projects that provide state-of-the-art and specialised equipment to help improve the diagnosis and treatment of children.  They also support research that can help to better understand children’s illnesses and provide the treatments of the future.

If you would prefer to donate to one of the other two charities - go ahead and find another runner in the 'UoM Manchester 10k' team (see below) - it all helps to smash that £100,000 target!
