Yep, I've been persuaded to cycle the lakes and passes around and about Keswick on August Bank Holiday. 87 miles, Whinlater Pass, Honister pass, and to top it The Struggle which is the short cut (Ahem) from Ambleside up to Kirkstone pass. That's a 1300 ft climb in two miles. Plenty hills round home to practice on but none with quite that elevation in that distance. I may have to practice on The Wall!
