Back in August, Jordan was taking part in the Cotswold sportive but, after losing control of his bike, was hit and dragged for several metres by a car; leaving him severely injured with many broken bones and a very bad head injury, plunging him into a coma. It was absolutely devastating for everyone involved and it was feared that we would lose him forever. At the time I didn't know Jordan all that well, I knew him through my Girlfriend and I'd only met him a few times previously. We'd never really spoken all that much but since then Jordan has had an amazing recovery. Not only has he woken up, he's also speaking normally and is making some brilliant progress towards walking again. During the recovery I've been seeing quite a lot of him, and despite not knowing him all that well before, its a pleasure to spend time with him and witness his wonderful recovery with my own eyes. Jordan really is one of the best people I know (although I'm much better at FIFA despite his claims). Without the brilliant work of the Great Western Air Ambulance and all those other cyclists who helped to lift the car off of him, I would never have got to know someone who I now look forward to seeing every week and has quickly become one of the best people in my life. So with that being said, I'm very happy to be attempting to complete an 18 mile Bike ride (That's a really long way for me) on the 5th of March for #TeamJordan. Nothing is more important than life itself, and without a phenomenal group of people Jordan would of lost his. Please donate generously, for Jordan and for all the future victims of terrible accidents who will need the Great Western Air Ambulance and the phenomenal job they do.

Thank you :) -Sam
