We transform young people's lives with DofE to build skills, confidence and resilience.

Story

Update - managed a small weight loss, did the walk (and got the blisters to prove it) and crocheted egg cosies for Easter and Remembrance Day poppies and was very proud to be part of a team which raised £190 in poppy sales alone!

Our challenge is to loose a "Carter" (Carter being the boss' huge German Alsatian dog) collectively and then maintain that weight loss through the year, which of course is the real challenge!

Our skill is to crochet which is not proving easy for me to pick up despite two lessons and the odd 10 minutes at my desk practising.

Our adventure is to do the 20 mile walk along the canal towpath from Cetnral Birmingham to the Queen's Head in Stoke Prior.

Please sponsor me for as much or as little as you can.  The Duke of Edinburgh scheme is fantastic, helping transform the lives of lots of vulnerable young people.
