Story
Im fundraising for Kidney Research UK.
Until you meet someone who needs dialysis you cannot understand how difficult it can be.
Paul Matthews turned 50 recently, he also received his 3rd Kidney transplant on 21st September 2014 after being on dialysis for 11 years (this time).
His brother had 4 transplants, his cousin had 2, his aunt 1 and his mother has 1. His daughter, Emma has the disease on her X chromosone and has a 50% chance of passing it on to her children.
...The disease is called Alports,it is a genetic hereditary disease and its pretty rare in the UK. It needs more research into it along with all the other Kidney diseases out there and that is why we are raising money for Kidney Research UK.
