Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year Incommunities are supporting the work of The Princes Trust.
The Prince’s Trust supports 13 to 30 year olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people they help are in, or leaving, care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law. They offer free programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives.
Jayne Booth from our Customer Involvement team has chosen to join Geraldine Howley, Incommunities Group Chief Executive and CIH President in raising money. This fantastic charity helps young people from all walks of like, providing opportunities, preparing them for work and overcoming barriers.
This work is what inspires Jayne to join the fundraising efforts. “This is important to me as in the sort of work I have done over the years, I have seen how young people can drop out of the system, become entrenched in bad situations and make poor decisions as a result. I believe that we really need to give people a chance”.
Thanks so much for your support Jayne, we're really grateful! Best of luck and we'll be cheering you on from the sidelines!
