When my inspirational friend Hannah started R.E.D January I felt like I had to participate because:

1. I haven't trained in earnest since the Great North Run and this is a great way to kick off the new year 

2. I'm going to be touring Italy in January so each run will be a bit of an adventure 

3. I'm quite familiar with depression and mental health issues and MIND seem like pretty decent folk to me

4. I'm slightly afraid of Hannah, even though she has tiny tiny little hands

Share a few pounds if you can as I hit the streets every day this January.
