The full story is over on the team page: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/BSCCYIAD, but basically I'm taking part in a ride of over 50 miles, climbing 11 of the Bristol area's toughest climbs in aid of Bristol-based MS Research Charity (ms-research.org.uk). We chose this charity because all the hills are part of the 2015 competition organised by fellow club member Ewan, who was recently diagnosed with MS. (My wife has MS too, am doing the Ride London next year specifically for her and the MS Society!)
