We support research at St Mark's Hospital to drive clinical improvements for patients

Story

Many of you know me well enough to know that I spend too much time training as a rower / sculler and always need a new challenge. This year, I'm taking part in a four-day cycle totally 280 miles in the SE of England called the Colon Challenge. I struggle with land-based challenges so this may be a challenge for me!

I'm raising funds for a specific project at a world-leading specialist bowel disease hospital, an institution which is well over 180 years old. I'm excited to be able to raise funds for transformational research which will benefit thousands of people across the UK.

Fundraising events:

1. Covent Garden Spring Soiree - We raised roughly £1350 in total from this event (online and offline donations).

Event info is here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/119229

2. Two cake sales. We have raised £130 from these so far. Another one is planned for early May.

Thanks for your support and special thanks for Chris and Becky, both patients, who are helping with planning for several events for the Hospital.
