I'm running a half marathon on Sunday with (less than half!) the amount of training I should of done! In an effort to raise a bit more cash- if anyone sponsors me £10 a mile I'm going to run it in what ever that person/ group of people says!!

A very close friend Ben Hayes, sadly lost his dad Kim to cancer and the charity, Hunts Community Cancer Network helped him immensely in his final days.

The Hunts Community Cancer Network is a new and very small charity that provides life changing care and support for cancer patients and those that are terminally ill. They made the last part of Kim's life that little bit brighter. They survive on donations, and we believe the work they do is incredibly important to support.

We are hoping to raise enough money to help the HCCN invest in an infrastructure to enable people with cancer to access 24-hour care and be able to communicate with their nursing team in real time. Further funds will go towards two portable ultrasound machines that will allow terminal patients to be treated in the comfort of their homes during the last period of their lives.
