We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

The charitable challenge for me this Autumn (thanks Christine) is a team effort 'Channel Swim' - not taking to the salt water and open seas but totting up the lengths in a friendly swimming pool. The challenge raises money for Aspire. I have pledged to donate 25p per length (25m) of breaststroke completed - as I am really rubbish at that stroke.

Every eight hours someone is paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury. It can happen to anyone at any time, and there is currently no cure. Every pound that I raise means that Aspire can provide practical help to a spinal injured person, allowing them to live a more independent life, so please donate as much as you can and help make a difference.

Please donate some small amount to encourage me to keep on swimming. The challenge runs from 14th September to 7th December and I am swimming at Gurnell Leisure Centre
