Fundraising for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity
Story
As part of the Prime Accountants Group - www.primeaccountants.co.uk - 3Ps Challenge, Julie and I will be walking (read crawling) up Scafell Pike on Sunday 12th July.
The first of the 3Ps challenges has already been completed, which involved getting to Snowdonia by bicycle, rowing across Lake Bala and then climbing up Mount Snowdon - thankfully, I was laid up at that time.
The challenge we'll be taking part in is part of the second challenge - Scafell Pike.
Members of our team will be cycling to Scafell Pike, where others will row across Lake Windermere and then we'll join them for the walk up Scafell Pike (fingers crossed that it's the easiest part).
Anyone who knows me will know that I never do anything that requires effort - if I have anything to do about it - so this will be quite a major achievement for me. Julie, on the other hand, is more capable, but that doesn't mean it will be any more the easier for her. I'm not quite sure whether she's aware of exactly what I've signed her up for - probably doesn't know that she'll end up having to push me up to the top!!
Anyway, please give generously and I'll be posting photos of the trek, as well as further updates as to how the challenges are going.
