We support families after a death on duty to help rebuild their shattered lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the UK Police Unity Tour between the 24th and 26th July 2015, cycling from the National Police Memorial In London to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

We will be covering 170 miles and will be raising money for COPS (Care Of Police Survivors) who help the families of Police Officers killed in the line of duty rebuild their lives. Each rider will be issued a blue memorial bracelet inscribed with the name and information of a Police Officer who died in the line of duty, which we will carry to the finish line.

In my role at Police Mutual I help members of the Police family everyday, and while we know the dangers of policing, nobody expects to die in the line of duty.  This is my chance to give something back and remember those who have paid the ultimate price doing a job they love.  I'm really proud to part of the Tour.

COPS is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, rebuild their lives.

COPS and I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me to help the families of those who have lost their lives doing the job that they loved.
