Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

200 cyclists of differing abilities are riding 200 miles from Chatsworth to Ampleforth, ascending 17,500 feet over two days and along many miles of the Tour-De-France and both of us have volunteered to join this worthy cause.

We all ride for Bruno, a premature little boy who passed away on the day of his birth and in support of his parents and their hope to create a lasting legacy in his name. A £600,000 endowment fund would offer one vulnerable and disadvantaged child a year, the opportunity to benefit from an education at Ampleforth College. Bruno's Bursary will continue to celebrate the life of this tiny boy, his loving family and a united community long after we have all gone.

"It is quite humbling, one tiny baby and one small idea and it has grown into something so positive which really highlights the best about humanity - how people come together to show they are part of a community and what is important in life, to be kind and supportive of each other....To translate that into an education for someone who is vulnerable or disadvantaged is exciting and very positive. who knows what impact it will have on an individual, their loved ones and their wider community in the future?" Vivian (Bruno's Mummy)
