Story

To raise money for the QMU's charity of the year - Sense Scotland - we are holding a band night with some of Glasgow's top up and coming bands!

FAIIDES
These guyz and gal played the qm earlier in the year and didn't dissapoint, with their 'shoegaze on speed' sound!
Head over to their soundcloud and you'll see why you need to come see them live.

KURUPI
This Glasgow 4 piece, who credit Nicholas Cage as one of their influences (get points for that straight away!), bring an energetic mix of garage punk with a jazzy twist and are not to be missed!

THE DIRTY BLONDE
In their own words... The Dirty Blonde is a sixteen limbed, musically carnivorous cynic-acidic noise monster from deepest darkest Glasgow with a Franken-Rock sound and spirit perfectly captured in song titles like “Only The Freaks are free” and "Subject. Scientist. Angel".

They really do get rave reviews though, so head over to their facebook page and see what they're all about!

SUNSHINE SOCIAL
This 6 piece never fail to impress with their multi-instrumental songs, ranging from music you won't be able to stay sitting down for, to the slower pieces that will leave you feeling like you're miles away (in a good way!).

SECOND HAND MARCHING BAND
Headling the night we have this 17 (yes, 17!) piece band playing untraditional folk on a variety of brass, woodwind, accordion, guitar and drum.

Doors are at 7pm, with the first band on at 7.30.
Free entry before 10pm, £3/£4 thereafter for qm members / non members, so you're best to get down early!
