My dad was given the awful news at the end of 2011 that he had bowel cancer. This was just the start of it. Before they removed his bowel they found lung cancer. They had to remove his lung. After having both removed he had to undergo intense chemo and radiotherapy treatment for over a year. We finally thought he might have beaten it, but at Christmas 2013 we was told he had terminal lymph nodes cancer in his back.  They explained he couldn't have any treatment, just pain relief. His health has got worse over time. Breathing problems, constant pain in his back and his legs have swollen so much that now he is house bound unable to even climb the stairs.  

He is slowly losing his battle with cancer and I am losing the best dad in the world, the man who has made me who I am today. 

On 6th May 2015 we have been told my Grandad has penil cancer, which is a very rare form of cancer.  He is 89 years old. He has been given 6 months to live. 

Both of these men are my world and I don't want to lose them.
