We are organising a team to enter the Great Eastern Run in October! The charity run is a half marathon and we’re hoping to raise funds for the Hunts Community Cancer Network (HCCN).

Some of you may or may not know, our father sadly passed away very recently after a long fight with prostate cancer. Throughout his incredible fight, he refused to let this have a significant effect on his life. He began an incredible journey that saw him cycle the length and breadth of the UK, running one half and four full marathons. He was passionate about being active and raising money for Prostate and other cancer charities. We would like to continue his journey with our family and friends!

Hunts Community Cancer Network is a small local charity that help people who are living with cancer to try and take back their lives and to play an active part in managing their health. They gave our dad a huge amount of support in the last months and weeks of his life.

We are hoping to persuade as many family, friends and work colleagues to join our team and help raise money for this very worthwhile cause, particularly one so close to our family’s heart.
For those that knew our Dad, we’re sure you will agree that getting people running 13 miles for charity would have put a great smile on his face!
