Please read my story as to why I entered the Great North Run.  Once you have, I am sure you will completely understand as to why I just had to do it.......My lovely friend Nicola Richardson is one of the strongest people I know.  In February 2007 she tragically lost one of her twin boys, Alexander, who died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep aged just 17 months.  As a mother I can only begin to imagine the pain and heartbreak her, Ian and her other boys went through.  In September 2015 Alexander would have turned 10 and Nicola wanted to do something extra special for this milestone, a decision as it happens that was made for her.  She was informed that a leading paediatric professor at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Neil Sabire had research waiting to be undertaken into the sudden deaths of over 1's.....The research would however cost £100,000.....and so Alexander's £100k challenge began.  How could I not possibly help? So I'm asking for your help please, to help me help Nicola to reach that target.
