Along with several colleagues from PPD and outside, I am taking part in the 2015 Round the Island Race to raise money for Keech Hospice Care - 100% of all entry fees and donations goes direct to Keech,

Round the Island is an annual sailing race around the Isle of Wight in the UK covering 50 nautical miles. It will take 6 - 8 hours to complete and 2000 boats are expected to take part in the race this year - the biggest ProAm sailing race in the UK.

I have donated to become part of an 8 man crew on a Beneteau Racing Yacht (with a skipper and first mate in control!) and set up this page to try and raise additional funds for the charity.  This is my first time sailing, but am familiar with life at sea via deep sea fishing trips.
