There are a lot of people in my life who have been diagnosed recently. Thankfully, there are some who have come out the other side but there are those who are still battling. Everyday.

Race For Life is an amazing event because it is a way of bringing women together to feel joy and take action on behalf of those who have been taken too soon.

It's a day for remembering and taking note of what's important in life. I last did Race for Life two years ago they day after my niece was born. It really was an occasion to celebrate life and to give it everything we've got.

I will be thinking of all those people taken too soon and the brave families who continue to fight on.
