Mercy4Mankind (http://www.mercy4mankind.org/) History:
First organised in 1985 this year represents the 30th anniversary of AMYA’s Charity Challenge. In that time it has raised in excess of £1.5 million for charitable causes. Last year, the event consisted of a 10km walk, run and cycle in Milton Keynes. More than 2000 fundraisers attended and many more helped to raise £250,000 for the supported charities.
The charities that will be supported this year are:
Royal National Institute for Blind
Royal Hospital for Neuro Disability
Royal British Legion
Great Ormond Street Hospital
Save the Children
Lukaemia & Lyphoma Resarch
Humanity First
Barnardos
NSPCC
MacMillan Cancer Research
British Heart foundation
Yorkhill Hospital
Along with these charities we are also raising money for the local charities. So please come down and support us and be a part of something special.
