Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page that we've set up to help raise money for the incredible hospice who helped look after our good friend Lisa who, at only 29 years old, lost her battle with cancer at the start of the year.

We were all so touched at the care and attention Katharine House gave to Lisa in her final days that a group of her family and friends have all joined together to take on the Hackney half marathon on the 10th May this year. The hospice relies almost entirely on charitable donations and we want to help ensure that they can continue their good work offering such valuable support to others during their time of need.

This event was chosen as it was a part of London Lisa lived in and loved. While a half marathon might not seem far to most, I can assure you that I am not a natural when it comes to endurance running, and the thought of even walking this distance, let alone running it, is rather scary! Therefore please give what you can to help motivate me to the finish line, while at the same time knowing we are supporting Katherine House to ensure they can continue to help others in the same way they helped our dear friend Lisa.
