This summer, Marcus Wood and Robert Noyes will be cycling 2200 miles from Budapest to London with Matt Landells, Clym Buxton and Jon Durbin, following the Danube and then the Western Front. We will cycle around 70 miles a day for the challenge, raising money for a charity that prevents homelessness in Britain - Shelter. Read more about it here - http://www.bike4charity.co.uk/blog/
We have decided to do this because it is a great exploration. Being on bikes for an unknown - indeed Robert still doesn't own a bike! Going out and exploring Europe in the open air, with friends and for charity sounds like a delightful way to spend a summer.
Marcus and Robert are raising money for Shelter - a charity that helps to prevent homelessness. It recognises that reacting to homelessness is only part of the problem - preventing it is part of the solution. Read more about it here - http://england.shelter.org.uk/what_we_do
We hope you will agree with us that this is a very worthwhile charity and appreciate any donations, however small!
Thanks,
Rob and Marcus
