Every couple of years I undertake a significant (stupid!) personal challenge event to raise money for good causes. Generally I do it for cancer related challenges as I have lost both my parents and a sister to cancer related illnesses.  This is my 30th year of police service and I wanted to contribute to those that have lost relatives during their service. Andy Rowsell, a West Mercia ch/supt died of an embolism on 31st March 2015. I was at Worcester College of Higher Education with him and served with him in West Mercia. Fine man and officer. Leaves a wife and three sons.
