Last December saw the sad passing of my close friends Fiona Hastings, after her struggle with bile duct cancer. As a tribute to Fiona and to raise money for 3 Charites, a number of her friends and family are taking part in the National 3 Peaks Challenge.

We have chosen to support Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research and The Christie Hospital. The Christie cared for Fiona during her illness and provided a huge amount of support of her and her family.

The National 3 Peaks Challenge will mean we are attempting to climb Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis and no easy task. I am currently training very hard to prepare myself for it.
