Story

To celebrate my landmark birthday I am proposing to walk from Wenbury to Lynmouth along the two Moors Way.I want to invite my friends and family to share some part of this walk with me.

I don’t intend to make it into a chore but I do intend to do all the 113 miles in 9 days, so each day we will have a couple of cars to get us to the start, usually at around 10:00am unless otherwise stated.  Please if you want to join in the walk, please do. It’s for Friends, family, staff and everyone!  Join in either by texting me, on 07968411438 or email me at nigel@royalcastle.co.uk, stating the day and date, and if you need a lift to start.

(Every day we have a car going from the days finish, back to the start.  If you don’t want to do the whole day please let us know and we will get you back to the start)

When you e mail or text can you let me know:

1) If you are meeting us at the start? or do you need a lift and from where ?

2) Joining us for supper usually eating about 6:30pm after a couple of drinks.  And home to bed about 10.00 so no party cloths just what we have been wearing!

Just to say that the charities I have chosen are: The Devon Air Ambulance possibly because I may need them on this walk, and also I believe it’s essential for rural areas to have fast access to a hospital. The second charity is the Chestnut appeal http://www.chestnutappeal.org.uk/ – not desperately attractive or fashionable but then neither am I.  I have lost two dear friends to prostate cancer – many of whom you know: Mr John Sharman – our roving chef for 8 years Both Devon based and deserve our support. I will send you details of giving soon!!!!I don’t want to set an amount but I need too, So my target is to raise £1,200.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
