We provide intensive physiotherapy to help to disabled children reach their potential

Story

I personally nominated Footsteps Foundation to be Hedges' chosen charity for 2015 and I was so pleased that the staff at Hedges chose to support such an amazing cause. My nomination was a very personal one as it is a charity that was able to offer some hope at the darkest time to people for whom I would walk to the end of the earth for. This is my way of remembering a beautiful little boy, Kieran Harding.

Footsteps Foundation enables children and young adults with neurological disorders to access the innovative physiotherapy programme provided by the Footsteps Centre in Dorchester-on-Thames. The three-week therapy programme helps disabled children to increase their physical, cognitive and developmental abilities whilst improving their confidence and independence.

The Foundation financially assists those families who would otherwise struggle to afford the cost of the Footsteps therapy programmes. The charity awards grants to those families covering a percentage of the total cost and helps disabled children to reach their full potential.
