We provide intensive physiotherapy to help to disabled children reach their potential

Story

Footsteps Foundation is Hedges' chosen charity for 2015.

We at Hedges’ are passionate about supporting the crucial work that Footsteps does and we want to support them and help them to continue to provide help and assistance to those who need it most. We are looking forward to this challenge and we hope we can count on your support!

Footsteps Foundation enables children and young adults with neurological disorders to access the innovative physiotherapy programme provided by the Footsteps Centre in Dorchester-on-Thames. The three-week therapy programme helps disabled children to increase their physical, cognitive and developmental abilities whilst improving their confidence and independence.

The Foundation financially assists those families who would otherwise struggle to afford the cost of the Footsteps therapy programme. The charity awards grants to these families covering a percentage of the total cost and helping disabled children to reach their full potential.

About the charity

Footsteps Foundation improves the quality of life for children and young adults with neuro-motor disorders. We provide them with access to a unique programme of intensive physiotherapy at the Footsteps Centre, enabling them to reach their full potential whilst gaining confidence and independence.
