I will be taking part in stage 12 of the Gallifor Try Land's End to John O'Groats cycle relay which involves cycling 83mile from Glencoe SYHA to Inverness City Centre.

This Stage of the end to end so i am told is visually stunning but long and tough.  It involves cycling along the A82, some excellent forest tracks and the cycle path along side the Caledonian Canal.  It also involves the steepest climb of the entire end to end relay (i guess someone for got to mention this to me when they sold me the idea) to reach General Wades Military Road above Fort Augustus followed by superb cycling along high ground to the east of Loch Ness before concluding with an exhilirating descent into Inverness for a well deserved rest.

Full details of this stage (and other stages of this relay) can be found be found in Nick Mitchell's "The End to End Cycle Route - Land's End to John O' Groats"
