Story
My friend Fiona passed away on the 17th December 2014 from cancer. It is a tragic thing to happen to anyone, yet alone to a 26 year old girl, one who was as outgoing and inquisitive of life as she was. Fiona lived life to the full in the short time she was with us, travelling through Europe, Australia and Asia, drinking goon and beer, as well as sampling kangaroo. I'm not sure she ever tried dog though!
As a tribute to Fiona's adventurous life, 30 friends and family are setting out to traverse The Three Peaks in 24 hours. A mean feat, however one we are all prepared to conquer regardless of the bleary eyes and sore feet.
We are all grateful to The Christie for the support they provided to Fiona, her family and her close friends. We are therefore aiming to raise as much money as possible to assist them in their work, enabling them support others who are in need and one day conquer that horrible disease.
Please give what you can to the group so that we may make a small contribution to a fantastic organisation and help prevent other families feeling the anguish of loss.
