Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, a team of 8 from EducationCity will be running in the 'Equinox 24' for Rainbows Hospice to help them continue their fantastic work.

This is the first time we have undertaken a 24 hour event or run through the night, and we are looking forward to it with trepidation!

You can find our more about it here http://www.equinox24.co.uk/

EducationCity supports Rainbows Hospice as our officially adopted charity. You can find more information about the great work they do in supporting children (and their families) with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses here: http://www.rainbows.co.uk

We are supporting them in multiple ways as a company, using our time and talents where this fits as well as doing direct fundraising activities, such as the above.

Our team of runners taking part in The Equinox 24 are as follows:-

Stuart McPherson

Jonathon Wintle

Lindsay Coles

Charlotte Kennedy

Kim Lynch

Alan Palmer

Matthew Bretherick

Joe Allen

Please wish us luck & we thank you for your donations to this fantastic charity!

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
