Dear friends from all around the world.
Hope you are all doing well:) We are doing fine, boys are growing very fast and we are all healthy and happy.
I am writing to you because I would be very happy if you could help me with a very good thing.
As you might know I have started my little project called NEVA OSLO, which is a jewellery brand for babies in 18K rose gold.
I am planning to sell bracelets for newborns, children, but also mothers and even dads. I have a very good team of an excellent goldsmith Peter and graphic designer Mikina both based in Slovakia. My first collection called 'minineva' is little 5mm handmade letters on a delicate chain or 100% Japanese silk, see attached pictures for illustration.
The project is very fresh and exciting and I am completely in love with it, I must admit. When selling those bracelets to so called 'privileged children' I had an idea....
I thought to dedicate some of my earnings to children that are not only 'privileged' NOT to get a beautiful bracelet, but in many cases they are missing much more important things in life:( Family or health, or both..
Those who know me well know that I am a big fan of a model and serious philanthropist Natalia Vodianova. She set up an foundation in 2004 called Naked Heart Foundation.
The organisation is mainly supporting children with disabilities as well as their families. Read more on NHF.org.One of the things they also do is to build play parks in remote places in Russia and internationally - may sound strange, but I actually love the idea so much!!! We all know that play is such an essential part in children's life and give them opportunity to escape and forgot their state of mind. To build those beautiful, colourful and safe play parks and give the children the chance to 'JUST' play, may as well give them the feeling of hope and happiness. I contacted them and showed them my jewellery and my wish to be able to donate 5 EUR from each sold bracelet. To my surprise they came back very quickly and hopefully I will travel to London soon and make it happen!!!:)
Every year Natalia and her team run semi marathon in Paris to help to raise awareness and fundraise some money.
This year I want to run with them! In order to do so I will get my own fundraising page on JustGiving where I will have only 5 days to fundraise as much as possible.
You all know that I am a passionate runner and would love to do such a thing for a good purpose.
