Story

A new year, a new challenge!!! A very good friend of ours Matthew Cummings aka 'Titch' was diagnosed with Crohns Disease when he was 11 years old. Having known him since the age of 8, we were aware of this but did not fully understand the severity of the condition until he had a very close call in hospital recently. It was definitely a wake up call for those close to him and also huge testament to how he has handled it for over 20 years without making it an issue, whilst always remaining positive and upbeat. So we decided we would like to raise money and awareness for Crohn's and Colitis UK this year by doing Tough Mudder Scotland on June 20th, with a group of his close friends(Shaun Gregory, Ian Mcqueeney, Richard Majer, Matthew Neave, Martin Kidd and Nick Gorden). As an added extra both myself and Titch will be quitting alcohol completely from midnight New Years Day until after the race. Obviously this is a massive challenge, but if I can show a fraction of the strength of character and determination of my mate, then it will be a walk in the park! Don't worry, I won't be constantly badgering people for money, I will simply post an update and a link to the Just Giving page on the 1st of every month and people can donate as they wish. Massive thumbs up in advance for your support :) Stand By Your Mates!
