Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As well as being the better looking of all the Gowans boys, Craig, was also incredibly popular with a bright and ambitious future ahead of him. As well as a gifted footballer, Craig was also an aspiring academic.

Unfortunately, Craig tragically died on the 8th of July 2005, in a training ground incident at the age of 17. Two weeks after signing a professional contract for Falkirk FC.

To mark the 10th anniversary of his death, myself and 35 other crazy people are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest 11-a-side football match ever (The record currently stands at 72 hours)

This isn't going to be an easy task and is something that we aren't taking lightly. Imagine, while you sleep at 4am, we will be playing football. When you wake up, spend the day at work, go home and have dinner, watch some TV and go back to bed... The whole time we will be playing football!  We will be doing this for several continuous days. All in aide of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation. All in the memory of Craig Gowans.

Please help me raise £1,000 to aide our overall target of £37,000

Thank you for reading!
