Story
In September 2014, through a site called 'I run for michael' I was matched with almost 4 year old Caelyn in Louisiana, she has a genetic disorder called 22Q11.2 Deletion Syndrome - which is where a small part of chromosome 22 is missing, it can cause over 180 different health with the most common being heart defects, learning difficulties, immune and calcium deficiencies. she also has tetralogy of fallot which involved heart surgery at a very very young age. when I run, I run for Caelyn, every pavement pounding mile is done with her in mind, when I think I can't go on, Caelyn helps me to the finish line.
on april 12th this I'm taking on my first full marathon in Brighton as well as running Eastbourne and Hastings Half Marathons in the build up to raise money for 2 charities. Through this page, all donations will go to Max Appeal UK, a UK charity which helps families affected by 22Q or Digeorge Syndrome. Please give whatever you can.
