Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, why the Berlin marathon?? I blame the wine! it brings out my competitive side. I'd never of said yes to such a crazy and random suggestion if there hadn't have been a glass in my hand and wine in my belly....... Say's it all really lol.

I have been running for a number of years now, nothing major just leisurely commuting the 4 miles from work a few times a week. Its been great but 3 years has since passed and I feel that I am ready for a real challenge.

I was thinking maybe a half marathon, as I have run 10k's before, the rest of the team had other ideas! So now were all going in for the big one - 26.2 miles -  and have given ourselves until September to do it. Talk about a challenge!!!! So if anyone was wondering why I've had so many running posts recently, well this is why. I apologise in advance for the many many more to come.

I am running on behalf of Shelter, they work to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing. They also help people find and keep a home and campaign for decent housing for all. They will not stop until there's a home for everyone! - So please donate anything that you can. Everything counts and will be truly appreciated!
