Some of you may know I have done charity bike rides in the past - however the last one was 12 years ago! So when Paul (my hubby) asked me to join him on the YBW charity ride - I thought, why not. 

The YBW is a boating forum so the route starts in Penton Hook Marina on the River Thames near Chertsey and finishes in Southampton in Ocean Village Marina, a mere 70 miles. 

The other, more personal reason I am doing this is for the British Heart Foundation, my charity of choice and in remembrance of my Dad.
