In April 2015, myself and 19 others will ride our bicycles from Hanoi in the north of Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City in the south (~2000 km).

"Why would you want to do that?" you may well ask. Well, I've had the privilege of living and working in Vietnam for the last 4 years (If you haven't been, you really should). While I have enjoyed all this country has to offer, it's also been very humbling to come across so many kind people. Especially when many of these people have very little and live in a different world from the one we reside in. It only seems fair that perhaps I should give something back to my adopted homeland.

For the first time in about 20 years, I am getting on a bicycle and going to train my arse off to make sure I can do this thing. The ride is completely self-funded, so every single cent you donate goes directly to where it's needed most.

All funds raised will go towards Saigon Children's Charity, which includes local orphanages, hospitals and a school for the blind.

This is the biggest thing I've ever done in my life and while slightly daunted by the prospect, I'm also looking forward to it. 

So, if I've ever bought you a drink, or you've bought me a drink... if I've ever shown kindness your way, or if that is something you have yet to experience, then please please help us raise lots of cash for the most worthwhile thing I've ever been involved with.
