Story

HI EVERYONE!

Thank you so much for taking your time to visit my page and hopefully donate some dollar!

In August 2015, I will attempt to climb the world's largest free standing mountain: Mount Kilimanjaro that stands at 5,895m! To give you a little comparison, the highest peak in UK, Ben Nevis, stands at only 1,344m!

I know some people, especially my student friends might be struggling to donate as it is but please remember that no matter how small your donation is, every penny counts!! So please give anything you can - whether it's just getting rid of you loose change, buying a 30p cupcake or donating a £100.

Meningitis is a devastating disease that can affect anyone. Students, particularly first years, are the second most popular group of people that it can affect due to the different environment and the different people they meet in the first few weeks and months of university. Meningitis is hard to detect due to it's symptoms being very similar to common illnesses such a flu or even serious hangover. It can leave people with severe disabilities, amputations and it can even be fatal.

So please help and stop this cruel disease.

Thank you for ALL donations.

Agnes

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
