Story
So far I have raised over £1000 for Yorkhill Children's Charity!
I chose Yorkhill because they help so many people. I was very sick with tonsillitis when I was little and they took care of me and gave me the operation I needed. I had a special bear dressed in scrubs I took in to hospital with me and when I woke up from my operation they had even put a real surgeon's mask on it for me!
I also have some friends who have needed to go to Yorkhill for operations or to see doctors over and over again. They get special care from Yorkhill that they couldn't get from other hospitals or doctors.
They also organise special trips for children who have to go to Yorkhill like a limousine ride around Glasgow at Christmas time to see all the lights at George Square. My friend was nominated for the trip and I was lucky enough to go with her. We had a disco in the limousine and drank lots of pink fizz!
In 2015 I want to raise even more and I'm hoping that lots of other people will join me. I'm starting the year with a 3K fun run in Hyde Park on New Years Day and have already persuaded my Grandad, two aunties, uncle and my Mum to join in too!
During the rest of the year I am going to do a sponsored silence, the Great Scottish Run and I'm also growing my hair so that I can cut it off at Christmas and donate it to the Little Princess Trust.
