Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you may know I've run in the Major Series event for the past couple of years, if you’ve not heard of it check out the page here http://www.majorseries.com, and with your help along the way have managed to raise a lot of money for both Breast Cancer Campaign and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research so thank you.
This year I am once again putting myself through what can only be called agony!… however there is a BIG reason why, my dear friend Neil Fullbrook sadly lost his mum suddenly to a lung related illness earlier this year. So this time the Muddy Eds https://www.justgiving.com/teams/muddyeds are back! and we're hoping to raise a lot of money for the British Lung Foundation http://www.blf.org.uk/Home in memory of Neil's mum and to help the fight against lung disease.
As usual it’s a grueling 10 - 12K run along a course with 20 or so challenging obstacles (incl. the ice baths and electric fence apparently this year) along the route topped off with a lot of mud and water to wade through. A good mate of mine Dominic Burns has once again helped me with training for it and I will have a team doing it with me which will help get us through but it’s not going to be a “walk in the park”. The venue is the stunning Eridge Park, the date is Saturday 4 October and our wave time is 10:00 so if you would like to come and see us caked in mud and cheer us on you are more than welcome.
Please donate whatever you can to this extremely worthy cause.
Thank you
