Like most of us, I have happily contributed over the years to other peoples efforts to raise money for worthwhile charities and projects but feel now is the time for me to get out of my comfort zone and do something different.

Three of my work colleagues and I have signed up to take on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris over three days in support of the Nottingham Hospitals Charity. At this time, current projects include the finishing of 'live-in' accommodation so parents can stay with their children in the Children's Hospital cancer wards as well as the construction of a helicopter pad at the East Midlands Major Trauma Centre.
