This page is set up so we can take online payments for raffle tickets. We have an amazing list of prizes that we were going to raffle off at our local riding club 'Rayleigh and District RC' however with the amount of prizes (not all horse related) it's being offered out to everyone to join in.

Last week on 27th June one of my best friends Kerry Waters, had a serious motorbike accident and she lost her leg at the scene. It was a lovely sunny day and one that has changed her life forever. But with thanks to the Essex Air Ambulance they got her to hospital in London within 20 minutes and helped save her life!!

Kerry wants to raise as much as we can for the Essex Air Ambulance, so now is your chance to help and maybe you will win one of our amazing prizes.

How it will work, you will donate £5 which gets you a ticket, so the more tickets you buy the more chance you will get of winning a prize. Once a payment is made please leave your name or contact me ' Mia De Simone' on facebook and I will advise you of your ticket number(s). Tickets can also be brought direct from me and Jo and these will be on sale at Rayleigh and District Riding Club shows during 20th and 27th July.

Towards the end of August we will draw the winners, once the first ticket has been selected we will contact the winner and they will get to chose their prize and so on until we have run out of prizes.

A full list of prizes will be available shortly, these range from riding lessons, meals at local restaurants, a fire engine limo ride, beauty treatments, pet and horse photo shoots and much more....!!

Essex Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a Charity providing a free life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Specialist Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics can be rushed to the scene of an incident with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care that is normally only found in the Hospital Emergency Department. Once stabilised, the patient will be conveyed by air or land to the most appropriate hospital for their needs.

Deployed on average 2-3 times a day, the HEMS Teams are most commonly dispatched to patients with serious illness or injury caused by such incidents as traffic collisions, falls from height, heart attacks, stabbings, cardiac arrests and stroke.
