I've always wanted to do this challenge, ever since I heard about it when I was a teenager, and now I am finally going to do it. It's going to take months of training, fundraising, testing different equipment and probably misery, but I can't be any more excited about getting to participate in something I have dreamed about for so long.

To be able to do it for two charities that I care about is even better. We have experienced Prostate Cancer within the family, and it is a scary disease that kills a lot of people, so it was easy to try and repay the kind support that we received to fight it.

The Jon Egging Trust epitomises everything that I think is right with a charity. It helps people, often in a way that they don't even know it is helping them. I have the utmost respect for the Patrons, and happily support their work.
