In this 101st year of the Tour de France, 39 cycling enthusiasts (29 Hiscox Preferred Brokers, ten Hiscox staff) took on the ambitious challenge of riding Stage 1 of the 2014 Tour de France on 4th July (the day before the professionals), starting in Leeds and finishing in Harrogate.

We are fund raising for a number of charities, one of which is Mind. With the permission of Sam Martin's family, we have set up this page in memory of Sam who tragically took his own life last December. Sam was a member of the Hiscox Mont Ventoux Challenge team which took on Stage 15 of the 2013 Tour de France last July. We enjoyed working and cycling with Sam, and hope to raise lots of money for Sam's family's chosen charity.
