Hi, Thank-you for checking out my page!
I am a current student at the University of York Studying Biochemistry. 
I regularly cycle but have never done a long-distance race.  I would like push my limits and hopefully do another.
The financial support of an Academic Excellence bursary can help to level the playing field for those who can go to University, especially with the huge rise in Tuition fees in the past two years. I hope this support will give intelligent young people from lower income families the opportunity to change a lifetime of going to University. I understand how privileged I am to be able to study at The University of York, one of the best and I believe most inclusive of the Universities I have seen.

This ride will be the first time I will have cycled 50km in one trip. This will be a challenge for me but I hope the rewards for me and those who will benefit from the bursaries will just as great.
I will be training and fundraising for the next month.
