In this 101st year of the Tour de France, 39 cycling enthusiasts (29 Hiscox Preferred Brokers, ten Hiscox staff) took on the ambitious challenge of riding Stage 1 of the 2014 Tour de France on 4th July (the day before the professionals), starting in Leeds and finishing in Harrogate. You can find out who we are at www.hiscoxbroker.co.uk/news/hyc  We endured wind and rain during our 190 kms through the Yorkshire Dales, but spirits were high as riders finished - with no injuries to report.
