Hi everyone,

Ted, Luke, Adam and Ellis will be cycling 850 miles from Winchester to Monte Carlo, Monaco over 9 days, averaging 85 miles a day. Starting on 28th August to raise money for Cancer Research.  Cancer has effected our live's and so we are doing this in memory of Bess, a dearly loved Mother and Grandmother. Ted has also had prostate cancer and is in remission, so this charity is very close to our heart's.

This is going to be very tough for us all as Ted and Adam will be on a  tandem and with Ellis being a novice cyclist, she will be putting her energy into cycling instead of chatting. Luke is challenging himself with a break away group of riders who will make a detour en route to conquer extreme climbs in the French Alps. Our journey has already started with training sessions,  including the IOW 100k which we completed on 4th May. 

We will be joined by fellow Inspired Living cyclists and support helpers which include close friends and 5th family member Loraine. This is self funded and every penny you give will go directly to the charity.

It was set up in 2009 by local GP Tim Frank. This was a result of the death of Marey, his wife of 24 years, from breast cancer in 2009. Inspired living aims to inspire ordinary people to adopt healthier lifestyles in order to reduce the risk of cancer and to help raise £1 million for Cancer Research UK.

As a team we are hoping to raise over £50,000 in support of Cancer Research UK. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
