This summer, from the 28th August - 6th September, I will be cycling 850 miles from the UK to Monaco over the course of 9 days. I will be undertaking this journey alongside some of my closest friends amongst the Inspired Living Team, an amazing group of people dedicated to the challenge of promoting healthy living and combating cancer.

Cancer is a terrifying disease which affects almost everyone at some point in their lives. Both of my Grandfathers were diagnosed with Cancer during their lifetimes and sadly have passed away in the last few years.

Over the last 5 years, I have completed a number of challenges to raise money for charity, in particular CRUK. I have cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End (2010), top-to-toe of Italy (2011) & Winchester to Venice (2012). After a year out, and feeling rather unfit, I am really looking forward to the challenge of Monte Carlo or Bust - all the training, the pain, the camaraderie and the joy at the end of the tunnel.

The Inspired Living team is trying to raise £50,000 from this trip and it is set to be one of the biggest challenges I have taken part in. Anything you could donate towards my personal target of £1000 would be amazing. I greatly appreciate all of your support and will make sure I share my journey with all of you.
